B2K & IMX: Where Are They Now?

The 13-year-old girl in me jumps up and down whenever I talk about R&B super-group B2k or hear one of their “old school” hits like “Un Huh” or “Bump, Bump, Bump” play on the radio. I know I’m not alone when I say Omarion, Raz-B, Lil’ Fizz and J-Boog captured a piece of my teenage heart in 2001 and held on to it until their surprising breakup in 2004.
And similar to B2K, their big brother’s IMX, formally known as Immature, made’90s girls everywhere swoon and dream of their first loves with records like “Beautiful You Are,” “Watch Me Do My Thing” and “First Time.”

Members of both groups have tried to embark on solo careers — of course, some better than others — but no one has been able to reach the height for their success as a group. So in honor of this era, let’s pay homage and check out what the now grown-men of these former boy bands have been up to. Trust us, a few of the updates will surprise you!
Click through the slides below.
Omari “Omarion” Grandberry
Out of all the former members of B2k, lead singer Omarion has unarguably had the most success as a solo artist. The R&B crooner, who is currently singed to Rick Ross’ Maybach Music Group, has released three studio albums and a mixtape.
De’Mario “Raz-B” Thornton
Since the band parted way nearly 10 years ago, Raz B has been fishing for attention in any way he knows how. From molestation claims, Twitter rants and a coma-turned-life support hoax, we have a hard time depicting the truth in his many fabricated stories.
Dreux “Lil’ Fizz” Frédéric
Lil’ Fizz is now a solo rapper who goes by the name Air Fizzo. He has a mixtape out called Game 1 and keeps fans updatedwith new music and visuals regularly on his YouTube page.
Aside from the rap game, Fizz was sued in 2011 for running an illegal marijuana dispensary in Los Angeles.
Check him out on Twitter here.
Jarell “J-Boog” Houston
We haven’t heard much from J- Boog since his 2010 domestic violence dispute, where he was arrested for abusing the mother of his two children.
Marques “Batman” Houston
Omarion definitely gets his work ethic from his half brother Marques Houston. Since his days of singing lead for IMX, Batman has released four solo albums: Naked (2005) Veteran (2007) Mr. Houston (2009) and Mattress Music (2010). His latest project, Famous, is due in stores on August 27.
Check out his new music video below.
Jerome “Romeo” Jones
Jerome Jones also known as Romeo or Young Rome released a solo project in 2004 entitled Food for Thought. He was rumored to have dated LeToya Luckett for some time, but aside from that, we haven’t seen much from Mr. Eye Patch since his brief movie roles in 2004’s You Got Served and 2007’s Feel the Noise.
We did know him and Marques Houston are still really close friends. Rome recently gave Marques a shout out on his Twitter account.
Kelton “LDB” Kessee
LBD has been very low-key since his appearance on House Party 4, but according to reports he’s remained behind the scenes working as a record producer.
