And how can we forget Chrissy Lampkin’s proposal to Jim Jones on the second season of “Love & Hip Hop: New York?” Her initiative definitely took viewers by surprise, but in the end, the rapper returned the question to his longtime girlfriend.
With women getting down on one knee on other reality shows like “The Bachelorette” and “The Real Housewives” series, it sends a message that times really are, slowly but surely, changing.
