Kanye West Is Under Police Investigation For Paparazzi Attack

Kanye West, who recently attacked a videographer outside Los Angeles International Airport, has found himself in trouble with the law.

According to reports, the rapper is under police investigation for the attack and may face felony charges.

Officer Sara Faden told PEOPLE, “We can confirm that our detectives are handling the case, however, we’re not sure if a misdemeanor or felony charge will be filed. The charge will determine if it goes to the City Attorney or D.A.’s office.”

As we reported earlier, the new dad of baby North West attempted to wrestle the camera out of paparazzo Daniel Ramos’ hands. Ramos clearly irritated the 36-year-old entertainer by asking too many questions, and as a result of the altercation, paramedics were rushed to the scene.

“You’re trying to get me in trouble so I have to pay you, like, $250,000,” West said in the video footage.

“Kanye hates when the paparazzi speaks to him,” a photographer source said. “He got very annoyed with the videographer and lost it.”

Britney Spears also got into a quarrel with Ramos in 2007. As payback, she bashed his SUV with an umbrella.
