While each and every one of us has our own favorite Destiny’s Child song (in case you’re wondering, mine is “Cater 2 U”), you can’t help but to wonder what the girls of Destiny’s Child’s favorite is! We caught up with former DC member, Michelle Williams on the red carpet of Debra Lee’s Pre BET Awards Dinner and asked her that very question! “Say My Name”
We’ll start this list off with Michelle’s personal favorite song, “Say My Name”.
“Bootylicious”
When “Bootylicious” dropped, it was definitely a game changer! Girls who were considered thick and curvy could now celebrate their bootylicious-ness with this feel good anthem! This song was so hot that the word, ‘bootylicious’ was even added into the dictionary!
If we learned anything from the Destiny’s Child era, it was to get rid of the trifling, good for nothing type of brothers and the bug a boos and find the one who was deserving of all your “bootylicious-ness” and was proud to say your name! (cute, right?). Once you’ve locked him down, it was time to throw on my personal favorite DC track and cater to your man!
