Hilarious Or Insensitive: K-Mart Commercial Parody Makes Slavery A Joke

From the “Big Gas Savings” to the “Ship My Pants,” K-Mart’s commercials have been super taboo lately. YouTube comedians have taken notice and made it their business to take those commercials to the next level with an even more taboo spoof.

I love a good joke, but this “Knickers” commercial parody takes it a bit too far. There’s a man bragging about buying some “work knickers,” a woman claiming she likes her “lazy knickers” around the house and the worst…the man who purchased “dancing knickers.” *sigh* Humor always has a bit of sting in it, but this is just insensitive.

The token Black man in the parody adds to the tongue-in-cheek humor, but ultimately, it still leaves a bad taste in my mouth. Did you guys like this parody or think it’s doing the most? Let’s chat!
