Kravtiz will accompany co-host Jason Aldean, while Nelly will hit the stage with Florida Georgia Line to perform their chart-topping hit “Cruise.”

This isn’t the first time Nelly found crossover success with country music. In 2004, the St. Louis native teamed up with country-western megastar Tim McGraw for a record called “Over and Over.”

The CMT Awards is schedule to air live on June 5 at 8 p.m.

Check out nine other artists who have found success in an industry where the musical lines are often blurred and blended.

1. Snoop Lion
Snoop Dogg started off as a gangster rapper, and now he’s a reggae artist who goes by name Snoop Lion. Talk about night and day.

2. Pink
Pink was a full-blown hip-hop/R&B artist when she made her musical debut in 2000. Today, she’s found her home in the pop/rock genre.

3. Usher
We know Usher as a smooth crunk and R&B kind of guy, but he’s also had much success with dancefloor pop records like “OMG” and “DJ Got Us Falling In Love.”

4. Lil Wayne
Lil Wayne shocked many of his fans when he started making rock music. Luckily, the rapper made an 180 and decided to stick to what he knows best.

5. Nelly Furtado
We met Nelly Furtado as a folk-rock artist, and today we know her for her pop and R&B hits.

6. Kanye West
On Kanye’s 2008 album 808s & Heartbreak he stirred away from his typical hip-hop rhymes for an electronica feel.

7. Rihanna
No other artist can make seamless transitions between Caribbean/regaee and r&b/pop music like Rihanna.

8. Katy Perry
It’s hard to believe that Katy Perry, who is best known for songs like “I Kissed A Girl” and “California Gurls,” was once a Christian singer. Her first project was an eponymous Christian album in 2001.

9. Gwen Stefani
Gwen Stefani started her career as the lead singer of punk rock band No Dobut. Today she likes to which up her style, giving up hip-hop hits like “Hollerback Girl,” “Luxurious” and “Let Me Blow Ya Mind” featuring Eve.
