Faith Evans Hit With Big Tax Lien

The list of celebrities who’ve had trouble paying thier taxes keeps growing, and now “R&B Divas” Faith Evans has officially joined the club.

According to TMZ, the State of California slapped a tax lien on the songstress for nearly $30,000, claiming she failed to pay her share in 2011.

Looks like Faith’s ex-hubby Biggie Smalls was right when he said “more money, more problems.”

This legendary singer owes more than $10.2 million in back taxes and, as a result, she recently filed bankruptcy.

Mary J. Blige and her husband Martin Isaacs were recently hit with a $3.4 million lien.

Court documents indicate Blige and Isaacs owed more than $574,000 for the 2009 tax year, more than $2.2 million for 2010, and more than $647,000 for 2011.

3. Wesley Snipes

Wesley Snipes was quietly released for prison last month. He served a three-year sentence for failing to file tax returns in 2006.

4. Lauryn Hill

Lauryn plead guilty to not paying more than 1.5 million in taxes from 2005 to 2007. As a result, the songstress was recently sentenced to 3 months in prison.

5. Lil Kim
For over tenyears, Kim has had trouble paying Uncle Sam his portion. She currently owes $1,026,862.42 in back taxes.

6. Lil Wayne

In 2012, Lil Wayne’s tax debt dated back ten years. He finally paid the IRS after the government threatened to confiscate his Miami mansion.
