Tyrese Gibson has a public service announcement: ladies, appreciate your one-minute man.
The R&B sensation sat down for an interview on “Chelsea Lately” this week, and he explained the women shouldn’t complain if their partner is a quick shooter — according to Mr. Gibson it’s actually a compliment!
“Good sex is — see they got this thing about minute men right? And so, when you’re a minute man, women get mad. But it’s actually a compliment,” he explained, “because if you’re in the bed for like 45 minutes and nothing is happening, you should get your life together…so it’s another way to look at this thing.”
The 35-year-old went on to explain the meaning behind his new TGT single with Ginuwine and Tank. “‘Sex Never Felt Better’ can go two ways,” he said. “It’s about what you’re doing in the bed as well as those memories of sexual chemistry with the right one.”

1. Let timelines go.
“A lot of times I think women can get caught up in a timeline that they create,” Tyrese said. “Let’s get to know each other 5, 6 months before you go there. I’m a little different. I would say as you are dealign with a little more mature man, he’s not going to say that because you gave it to me quick — sexually — then you’r eno big deal and the challenge is over. Because if he wants it and she wants it then it’s like, “Have fun, live your life.”
2. Experiment. Get it out of your system before marriage.
The “timing of when you get married” is very important, he said. “Men will be men. We can find that main one we want to love and want to focus on but in the end if you ain’t got everything out of your system, your curiosity is going to lead to you moving around a little bit.”
3. Move at a pace you’re comfortable with.
“Some people make it happen fast, for others it’s a long drawn out process. It’s a filtering thing. Whatever your province is in doing,” he said.
4. Be realistic about your skills.
“A lot of women are very unrealistic,” he explained. “To have a man that’s attractive and successful, you have to be in the position to hold him down mentally, spiritually, emotionally, physically, and sexually. Some of yall have wack sex. Some of yall are so consumed in your sexy that your sex is horrible. Your sexy attracts the man, but after you attract the man you’re not able to keep him.”
5. Be honest about your activity.
“Just ‘do you’ but my thing is if you’re going to move around like that, get your pimpin’ right and at least give the girls a heads up because I think the dipping off five-six women simultaneously making them all think they’re the only one, that’s when people get fired up at the end,” he explained.

“If women have sex with too many dudes, dudes call you [hoes] and all your own homegirls will call you out. When men have sex with a bunch of girls, we get props. So men are not as ready to settle down. We may be ready in our minds because we feel like you’re so beautiful, special, and consistent. But we still want to get some other [girls]. We want to spread our love just a little while longer while at the same time not losing you,” he said.

“A love letter. After you read that love letter, go and have wild sex. Bring all that friction and tension to the bedroom. Just get it out and then lay there with sweat dripping, that’s it,” he advised.
