Faith Evans Defends Nicci Gilbert’s ‘R&B Divas’ Attitude

At first glance, former Brown Stone lead singer–Nicci Gilbert comes across as temperamental or tyrant-like on the popular reality TV show “R&B Divas.” But, according to friend and cast mate Faith Evans, that is confused with passion. Nicci created “R&B Divas” and co-funded the pilot. Therefore, she won’t sit back and allow something she created to be run into the ground.
Faith Evans doesn’t know the woman being portrayed on “R&B Divas,” and calls out editing as one of the main factors. “To be quite honest with you, I watch it, and that’s not my friend,” Faith told us in an interview following season one of the show where she defended her friend’s intentions.
