“The Real Housewives of Atlanta” are back from a brief hiatus and continuing their everlasting drama about everything under the sun. On this week’s episode, Porsha was busy planning her husband’s 40th birthday bash so she wasn’t fully focused on Cynthia’s pageant and if there is anything we’ve learned about Cynthia and her agency, it’s either all or nothing. It looked like Porsha was about to get the boot. Meanwhile, Porsha’s archenemy, Kenya, received some heart breaking news regarding her health.
Kenya’s Health Scare
All of the stress from the drama with the other ladies was taking a toll on Kenya’s health and during a recent doctor’s visit, she was told that she had not one but two lumps in her breasts–that might be serious. Obviously, Kenya was very nervous about what would happen when she arrived at the doctor’s office, but luckily she had her family on hand to support her. Later in the episode, Kenya received the results of her biopsy and luckily for her, the doctor delivered great news that the lump was only a benign tumor and not cancerous! Thank God!
Kenya’s Home Depot Booty
Phaedra went to visit Kandi for a glass of sweet tea and to talk about Kenya’s fashion fail at the Shoedazzle event on last week’s episode. Phaedra told Kandi, she thought Kenya was somewhat obsessed with her after showing up trying to imitate her swimsuit but actually making a bigger fool of herself rather than embarrassing Phaedra. “She just wants to be donkey-licious, but she just has a home depot booty,” Phaedra told Kandi. Although Phaedra was talking a good game, Kandi wasn’t convinced that Phaedra wasn’t bothered by Kenya’s actions, and neither were we.
Pageantry Drama
Cynthia was still busy planning for her pageant and even though she enlisted Porsha’s help, she was starting to regret her decision to bring her on board. Porsha and Cynthia scheduled a meeting to discuss the details about the pageant. They originally planned to meet at Porsha’s house but since Porsha’s hubby was out of town, she didn’t want “strangers” in her home. They opted to meet at the Bailey Agency instead. Not exactly sure what Porsha meant by calling Cynthia a “stranger” but we’re just going to move along for the sake of this post. During their meeting, Porsha abruptly excused herself to take a phone call from the cleaning crew at her house because they needed instructions on what parts of her home to clean. Must be nice! That must have been the straw that broke the camels back for Cynthia, because she was fed up with little miss Porsha and her dingy attitude. The next day, Porsha and Kordell went to play basketball in their backyard and Porsha proceeded to tell her husband about the rude treatment she received from Cynthia and her staff at the Bailey Agency. Kordell’s only responded to Porsha was, “you better check her!” and check her is just what Porsha did, or at least attempted to do! The next day, Porsha met with Cynthia to discuss things over and Cynthia told Porsha that she doesn’t want to mix friendship with her business! It looks like Cynthia actually was the one doing the checking in this scene.
Kordell’s Big Birthday Bash
It was finally time for Porsha’s husband’s big birthday party. Even though Cynthia and Porsha weren’t exactly the best of friends, Cynthia and Peter still managed to come to the soiree` to show their support. During the party, Kordell demanded that Cynthia and Porsha make up since he can’t stand to see his wife in drama with other women. Although the ladies were reluctant to do it, they both agreed to put the past behind them and keep their business and friendship separate.
