Celebs Cheer On Disney’s Black Princess
Despite controversy, ex-Spice Girl Melanie Brown is in full support of Disney’s new movie The Princess and the Frog. The star thinks the film should have been made ages ago and doesn’t mind that the Black princess is paired with a lighter skin-toned prince:
“We should be applauding interracial relationships and have more of an open mind. It’s brilliant. In this day and age, races are integrated – we have a Black president of America now – so it shouldn’t matter.”
Mel B is the first to speak on the interracial couple in the film but I’m sure many more African-American celebs will have a lot to say on this subject.
