Jazmine Sullivan To Make Her Screen Debut
According to essence.com, Best New Artist Grammy nominee Jazmine Sullivan has been tapped for her first major film. Sullivan will play a jazz singer in the movie “Red Tails,” who performs for soldiers in the Tuskegee Airmen story, according to Billboard.com. Director Anthony Hemingway will shoot the film in Prague and has also tapped singer Ne-Yo to join the cast.
Sullivan’s sultry sound is sure to fit right in the period piece.
