What The Hell Happened To Foxy Brown?
Talk about a blast from the past! Brooklyn rapper Foxy Brown got caught up in the moment last night on The Mo’Nique Show and was visibly humbled when she walked onstage to rapturous applause. The emcee took a seat on Mo’Nique’s couch next to her idol and namesake – legendary actress Pam Grier.
Foxy was quite emotional as she told the audience how she came to ask Grier, whom she refers to as her “second mother”, for permission to use her iconic screen name as her performing alias – and goes on to talk about waking up with her hearing ‘100% gone’ overnight [in 2005], which has since returned. Fox also has a response to haters criticizing her on her weight gain. Here’s what she had to say via her twitter:
“I swear next time yall see FOX, honey gon’ be 125lbs lookin’ like Broken Silence!!!”
